I was born in Antananarivo, Madagascar. At the age of 7 we moved to Kenya where I had the privilege to spend 9 years growing up in the original "Out of Africa" environment. It was during this time I was introduced to Accupunkture and almost went to study it with an extemely gifted Accupunkturist in Nairobi. My mother was very open to holistic medicine while my father was the pure scientist and strict follower of Alopatic medicine.

At the age of 17 I was sent to boarding school in Switzerland where I completed my year 12 Matura followed by studies in Electrical Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) in Zürich, specializing in Medical technology.

Instead of working as an Electrical Engineer I ended up in the world of Unix (System V, Solaris, ASX, ...) system engineering at the beginning of Open Source Software (OSS) including pre-1.0 days of an Open Source project called Linux.

Early 2000s I emigrated to Australia and lived in Perth, Western Australia for 10 years, working as a contractor in Open Source web development. In the last 2 years of my adventure downunder I launched a startup with 2 friends under the name of mobilefabrik.com. A move back to Switzerland in 2012 put an end to the startup, however the domain is still being used as you can see.
